Film Summary
"Beyond Me" will emerge as a visually striking film, intertwining the radiant mosaic of Fauna's inner world with the dynamic rhythm of human existence. The narrative invites audiences into a flowering of consciousness, exploring deep universal truths while witnessing the dissolution of identity against the backdrop of battling shadows. Directed by Fauna's partner, Hanna, audiences are transported into the dance of yin and yang in Fauna's life. The film, marking the debut collaboration of the LGBTQ couple, artfully pays homage to the harmonious embodiment of both masculine and feminine spirits within a singular body. The film will radiate an ethereal aura, embodying poetry in motion. This creation will exude the essence of where all lines of identity blur, and consciousness cascades through the body, manifesting its myriad expressions.
Fauna’s Story
I am Fauna—an ever-evolving movement artist and poet, dancing with the fluidity of my identity. While honoring my physical form, I feel a longing to align with the masculine essence as I embrace my feminine qualities. I am the convergence of dualities, two spirits intertwined as one. I’m here to harmonize the battles within my inner and outer worlds. I exist in the space where realms collide, where yin and yang converge, where everything and nothing meet.
This film is an intimate collaboration between me and my beloved. I feel as though she has provided me with a sacred platform to authentically express myself, allowing the landscape of my mind and heart to be captured and witnessed.

Directors Statement
I believe humans are living, breathing portals, reflecting the godliness within one another. And in the lens of my camera, I find a sacred instrument, capturing not just moments but the very essence of godliness in others. We are here to see the divine in the dirt, to bask in our individuality, embracing everything that makes us more human and less robot.
Filmmaking is one of the ways I honor the intimacy of life—a medium to convey my innermost feelings. I capture moments with four eyes: the two that are visible, my third—the invisible one in the middle, and the fourth, which is my camera. Every frame holds multitudes. The entire galaxy exists in a single moment.
